Tournaments

SCCS schedules monthly one-day tournaments in a modified Stableford format, flighted by handicap, adjusted for each tournament based on previous tournament results. All events require pre-registration, and the field is limited to approximately 110 golfers per event.

Membership

Membership is limited to approximately 200 men amateur golfers aged 50 and older who are members of approved golf clubs within our geographic area. We currently have a limited number of open memberships for our 2026-27 season that begins in October.

Join

Applicants should be aged fifty years or older and a member of a private or semi-private golf club located within the SCCS approved geographical area. Our membership boundaries are from Hilton Head, SC to just north of Mt. Pleasant, SC and west to the city of Orangeburg, SC. The applicant must have an established handicap at his home course or through the Carolina Golf Association using the USGA handicap system.

Do not send any money with your application.

You will receive an acknowledgement of your application within two to three days. This will include additional information about the next steps to join SC Coastal Seniors. Currently we have a limited number of memberships available for the 2026-27 season.
